Saga Holidays - Saga Rose

Last Voyage of the Saga Rose - Saga Holidays

Saga Holidays - an epic Saga

Saga holidays is a UK based holidays travel company. The Saga holidays website, travel.saga.co.uk, shows an enormous range of Saga holidays travel options, ranging from cruises, to tours, to typical hotel holidays. They offer package deals and specials in many of the most popular destinations in the world, including one of my personal favorite places, Japan.

Saga Holidays - too little too late

The Saga holidays package is a nice little way to arrange a trip without having to personally arrange a trip in every detail, but for me personally I do not think their touring packages are everything I would want. For example, the only trip they offer to Japan is only an eleven night stay, and some of those nights are just traveling to Japan! I would prefer a Saga holidays if it was longer, like at least three solid weeks of Japan touring, travel, and experiences. That would be my idea of a Saga holidays.

Saga Holidays - much too much

The other problem for me is the price. I would not pay over 3300 UK pounds for an eleven day trip! If it's really going to cost that much just to fly over there, I am going to stay for a while and make sure I really get my bang for my buck. To me it's like the idea of paying an exorbitant price to enter an amusement park, but then leaving before lunch. You might as well have stayed at home and played in the sprinkler (it would have been a lot cheaper and easier). So if I wanted to take Saga holidays anywhere and the flight would add that much to the expense I would want a longer trip. Which isn't offered for the trip I want.

Saga Holidays - a saga for another day, another adventurer

So, I've concluded that for more than one reason Saga holidays are not for me. Granted, there is the whole I don't live in the UK so I would have to fly to the UK just to be able to fly somewhere else, which would be silly and expensive. But even that aside, I would rather do my own work for a holiday more perfectly me than have to work around Saga holidays and end up with something that is not as much fun for me. So happy Saga holidays to my UK friends and happy blogger holidays to me.
